She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Hubert Osborne and Nell Austin Osborne; her husband Joseph "Dude" Smith; and her brothers, Charles Thomas Osborne and Hubert Edsel Osborne.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Carolyn Holland, Betty Jo Bryant (Eli), William Joseph Smith (Anita) and James Timothy Smith (Lois); and her grandchildren, John Holland, Laura Roberts (Mike), David Bryant (Bonnie), Jason Bryant (Missy), Kevin Bryant, Rebecca Edmonds (David), Ashley Stover (Chris), Amy Roberts (Gary), Jessica Smith (Ryan), Erin Godby-Temple and Carrie Griffith (Jonathan). She is also survived by 35 great grandchildren and 29 great great- grandchildren.
