She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Clinton Simmons and Edith Irene Cox Simmons; her husband John Tillman Davis; her son Ronald Anthony Davis; and her siblings, Reva Troglin and Waymon Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Davis (Hilda) and Elisa Guthrie; her sister Treva Scarbrough; her grandchildren, Chad Davis (Jill), CeCelia Sullivan (Joe), Shane Davis (Michaela), Caroline Oakes (Jacob), Reid Guthrie and Robby Guthrie (Danielle); her great grandchildren, Chloe Craddock (Kolby), Lauryn Craddock (Chase), Till Oakes, Lorali Oakes, Simon Davis, Nora Davis and Esther Davis; and her great great grandchild Bailey Craddock. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thurman Funeral Home (44 N Main St, Sparta, TN 38583). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
