He is survived by: his wife Paula Benson; his siblings, Kathy Benson Krause (Rick), Jane Kelly (Al) of Jacksonville, FL, Joann Benson of Fort Worth, TX and Barry Benson of Matamoras, PA; his son John Benson of Knoxville, TN; his stepchildren, Michael Scott of South Pittsburg, TN and Kim Moore of Clarksville, TN; and his grandchildren, Riley Moore and Madalyn Scott.
