He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hitchcock and Mildred Hale Hitchcock; and his brothers-in-law, David Palk and Bill Mathis. He is survived by: his children, Jane Ann Bryant (Tim) and Philip Brent Hitchcock (Callie Brooke); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace Bryant, Maddie Rose Bryant, Anna Kate Bryant, Theodore Graham Hitchcock and Preston Blake Hitchcock; and his sisters, LaJuana Palk, Kathy Mathis, Carla Pope (Gary) and Julie Bohannon (Don). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations sent to Gath Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in the honor of Steve (6967 Smithville Highway, McMinnville, Tennessee 37110).
