He is survived by: his son Joe Boyd Rowland of Nashville; his grandsons, Thomas Everett "Rett" Rowland, IV (Shayna) of Sparta and Mason Boyd Rowland of Memphis, TN.; and his great grandchildren, Lyla Rowland and Gage Rowland.
