He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Levon Shewmake and Nelma Grace Shewmake; and his son Thomas Aaron Shewmake. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn Shewmake (Jackie); his daughters, Candice Montecchie (Gene) and Iris Meyer (Jason); his daughter-in-law Shelley Shewmake; and his brothers, Ronald Shewmake (Julie), Keith Shewmake (Cathie) and Tim Shewmake (Cathy). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness (2221 Crossville Hwy, Sparta, TN 38583).
