She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cramp and Nova Dallas Burroughs Underwood; her husband Virgil Rittenberry; her children, Nova Jean Jensen and Jesse Dewayne Rittenberry; and her siblings, Myrtie Anderson, Myrtle Ballard, Everett Underwood, Carson Underwood, Bonnie Anderson, Edith Voskuhl, Carlie Underwood, Benton Underwood, Magdalene Underwood and Ben David Underwood.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Simmons (James), Frances Hensley (Scott), Ruby Richardson (Charlie), William Virgil Rittenberry, Steve Rittenberry (Linda) and Everette Glen Rittenberry; her brothers, Fred Underwood, Harold Underwood (Iris) and Kenneth Underwood; and her grandchildren, Katherine Hensley, Jessica Baker, Chad Richardson, Serena Richardson, Betty Sue Simmons, Kenneth Simmons, Dewayne Rittenberry, Danny Rittenberry, Tammy Rittenberry, Tommy Rittenberry, Kelsey Miles and Olivia Jensen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hunter Funeral Home (120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home (120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583).
