He is survived by: his wife Bernice Carr Rains; his children, Michelle Carey, Dennis, Billie Williams and Candie Coffey; his stepdaughters, Monica Hofer, Kathy Russell (Jimmy) and Debbie Marlow (Daniel); his grandchildren, Elijah Mayes, Titus Mayes, Lucas Carey, Cadence Rains, Aliyah Williams, Caleb Gibson, Canden Jerry Rains, Eli Coffey, Austin Sizemore and Melita Holt; his siblings, Bessie Jean Wascom (Bill), Kenny McCartt (Kathy) and Judy Vanbever (O.); his son-in-law James Williams; his close friends, Gary Evans, Scotty Holloway and Danny Adkins; Mike. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family suggests contributions toward the funeral expenses in lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy.
