It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pearl B. Hopper of Speedwell, Tennessee, who passed away on June 16, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Robinson and Lottie Edwards Robinson; her husband Charles Jack Hopper; her son Charles Jack Hopper, Jr.; her granddaughter Isabella Cook; and her brothers, Paul Robinson and George Robinson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terri Tye and Mary Ann Hammons (B. J.); her grandchildren, Jack Hopper, Eric Hopper and Jessica Cook (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Nathaniel Cook, Audrey Cook, Madison Cook, Ava Joy Cook, Isaac Cook, Marley Cook and Raelyn Hopper; her sisters, Martha Lyons (Stanley) and Hazel Stakely; and her sister-in-law Liz Robinson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Salem Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rogers Cemetery.
