He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne Roberts of Spencer and Sally Cunningham (Doug) of Spencer; his nieces and nephews, Whitney of Spencer and Jeremy Cunningham of Spencer; his son Britton Smith (Emily); and his granddaughter Edith Anne Smith.
