He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Markum and Edna Lee Snipes Markum; his stepson-in-law Gary Whitman; and his stepchildren, Omey Ray Medley, James Randall Medley and Angie Faye Campbell.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Helen Medley of Spencer, TN; his stepchildren, Cynthia Louis Whitman and Mark Anthony Medley (Debbie); his grandchildren, Stanley Eugene Campbell (Stacey), Brian Christopher Campbell (Cady) and Ashley; his great grandchildren, Logan, Morgan Campbell, David, Carleigh, Caroline, Camryn Young and Allie Young; and his nephews, Jonathan and David Markum.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mooneyham Church of God (5129 Mooneyham Lonewood Rd, Spencer, TN 38585). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Walling Cemetery.
