Though Evie Irene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dottie Hale and Oria Simmons Hale; her husband George Brymer; her sons, Jeffery Brymer and Jerry Brymer; her brother Willard Hale; her son-in-law Richard Smothers; and her great grandchild Kayleigh Armstrong.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Drake (Wayne) and Tina Smothers. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home & Cremation Services (151 Argo Rd, Spencer, TN 38585). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
