With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James William Sullivan Sr. of Spencer, Tennessee, who passed away on October 11, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde Sullivan and Hassie Yates Sullivan; his wife Louise Sullivan; and his sisters, Mary Jo Johnson, Lillian Young, Louise Young, Imogene Hamrick and Bonnie Hale.

He is survived by : his children, Melody Nunley of Rock Island, TN and James Sullivan, Jr. of Spencer, TN; his grandsons, Brandon Nunley of Rock Island, TN, Randy Sullivan of Spencer, TN and Adam Burgess of Spencer, TN; his great grandchildren, Sagan and Wilder Sullivan of McMinnville; and his brothers, Clyde Sullivan, Jr. (Brenda) of McMinnville, Lester Sullivan (Sue) of McMinnville, Chester Sullivan (Wanda) of McMinnville, Bobby Sullivan (Wilma) of Smithville, TN and Danny Sullivan (Betty) of McMinnville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
