She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Herman; her children, Charles Herman and Debbie Smith; her grandson Justin Worthington; her great grandchildren, Michael Simmons and Nina Herman; her brothers, Daniel Russell (Rita) and Charles Reese Russell (Carolyn); her son-in-law Jerry Worthington; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Holmes, Jessie Clinton Simmons, Nathaniel Crain, Leola Hopkins (Gus) and Velvie Hopkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Simmons (John) and Juanita Worthington; her siblings, Harold Russell (Sue), Norma Ruth Holmes, Barbara Webb and Willie Simmons; and her children-in-law, Denton Smith and Brenda Herman. She is also survived by Twelve grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and forty-six great-great-grandchildren.
