He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverdy James Sr. and Amanda Bryant Grissom. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Grissom (Billie) of Laurel Cove and Scott Grissom (Kathie) of Tullahoma; his grandchildren, Lauren Blakewood, Jeth Grissom and Abby Van Wayenberg; and his great grandchildren, Kashton Blakewood, Kali Blakewood, Heidi Van Wayenberg and Benny Van Wayenberg.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Long Cemetery.
