He is survived by: his wife Deara Ritter DeVaney; his children, Angela Burge (Jacob), Dyllis "Bud" DeVaney and Danny DeVaney (Amanda); and his siblings, Marlene Welchel, Kathy Melton, Marvin DeVaney (Denise) and Thomas DeVaney. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
