With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Emily Miller of Spring City, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Emily left this world on September 15, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, G. C. Thurman and Mary McPhail Thurman (Max Miller); her brother Leon Thurman; her brother-in-law Jim Adams; and her cousin Jody Thurman Barr.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy; her son-in-law Bill Swafford of Spring City, Tennessee; her sister Shirley Thurman Adams of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; and her cousins, Dill, Elizabeth, Grover, Gloria, Laura, Amanda, Lacey, Tiffany and Brittany.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 127, Spring City, Tennessee 37381 in her memory.
