He is survived by: his children, Duwana Powers, Diana Winfree, Connie Edwards (David), Sharon Lewis (Jim), Karen McCurdy and James David Powers (Angie); his brother Wilson Cunningham; his grandchildren, Jody Keener, Stephanie Winstead (Steve), Rachael Barnes (Jeremy), Amanda Davis (Zack), Devon Powers and Jessica Powers; his great grandchildren, Bradley Parks, Zackery Barnes, Kaityn Barnes, Peyton Davis, Lakelyn Davis, Emma Powers and Bailey Powers; his great great grandchild Jace Parks; Lindzee Matlin (Justin).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vaughn Funeral Home (150 New Lake Rd, Spring City, TN 37381). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
