She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie B. Gunter and Lucy Delk Gunter; the father of her children Lucious Davis; her daughter Stacy Davis; her siblings, Treva Gunter, Reva Threet, Dee Gunter, Robert Gunter, Flony Couch and Carolyn Montgomery; and her grandson Justin Cody Davis.
She is survived by: her close friend Gerald Reed of Spring City, Tennessee; her children, Jefferson Davis (Donna) of Dayton, Teresa Davis Winstead (Don) and Patricia Chavis (Terry) of Spring City, Tennessee; and her siblings, Orien Gunter (Ellen) of Spring City, Roger Gunter (Becky) of Evensville, Tennessee and Sina Webb of Spring City, Tennessee. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vaughn Funeral Home (150 New Lake Rd, Spring City, TN 37381). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
