She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Dyer; her parents, Russell Meek and Presha Meek; her children, Joy Smith and Joe Dyer; her daughters-in-law, Leta and Debbie Dyer; and her siblings, Dwayne, Garfield, Doyle, Clifford Meek, Marie and Doreen.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Dyer of Dayton, TN and Sherry Creason (David) of Dayton, TN; and her son-in-law Grant Smith of Roanoke, VA.. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family has requested donations be made to their favorite church in lieu of flowers.
