With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Patricia Shannon of Spring City, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Patricia left this world on May 5, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Patricia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Patricia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Asa and Irene Yarbrough Reed; and her brothers, Powell Reed and Kenneth Kevin Reed. She is survived by: her daughters, Leia Barker of Spring City and Anessa VanHorn (Brian) of Rockwood, Tennessee; her sister Juanita McGinnis of Kingston, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Conner VanHorn and Lillian Vanhorn.
