She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McCulleyTreadway and Lucille McCulleyTreadway; her husband Earl "Liner" Newby; her daughter Joy Hickman; her son-in-law Tim Hickman; and her siblings, Ellen Simpson, Cleo Jolley, Mildred Hieskell, Earl and Howard Treadway.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Timothy "Bo" Hickman (Blair) of Jonesborough and Jennifer McDaniel (Michael) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and her great grandchildren, Zach Hancock (Karleigh), Katelyn McDaniel and Matthew McDaniel.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to Hearth Hospice, 1690 25th Street N.W., Cleveland, TN 37311 in her memory.
