She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Berger (Madden) and Harold A. Berger. She is survived by: her husband Pete Volk; her sons, Ryan Volk (Nichole) of Nolensville, TN and Jason Volk of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Gavin Volk and Eva Volk of Nolensville; and her siblings, Don Berger (Kathleen) of Granger, IN, Sheila Walerko (late Tom) of South Bend, IN, Patricia Newlin (Michael) of Riverton, WY and Susan Berger of Granger, IN. She is also survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church (2320 E Jefferson Blvd, South Bend, IN 46617). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
