We are sad to announce that, on September 25, 2025, at the age of 93, Gisela Batista Torres of Spring Hill, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gisela may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gisela touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rev. David Torres; her children, Prisca (Timothy D. Hill) of Fairview, TN., Josh Torres (Connie Torres) and Vasti Torres of Bloomington, IN.; and her grandchildren, Jonathan C. Hill of Eugene, OR, Ana Hill of Lansing, MI, Jared Hill of Ann Arbor, MI and David Torres of Texas. She was also cherished by her children and grandchildren.
