She was predeceased by: her parents, David Lipscomb McQuiddy, Sr. and Virginia Dale Houston McQuiddy; her siblings, David Lipscomb McQuiddy Jr. and Ann McQuiddy Hall; her son William Bruce Rainey Jr.; her granddaughter Patricia Burton Rainey; and the father of her children William Bruce Rainey Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Bill Rainey; her sons, David McDonald Rainey and John Houston Randolph Rainey; and her grandchildren, Evelyn Dale Rainey, Erin Clayton Rainey, Gabriel Hoffman Rainey and Alannah Hoffman Rainey.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spring Hill Memorial Park and Funeral Home (5239 Main St, Spring Hill, TN 37174). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Episcopal Church (5291 Main St, Spring Hill, TN 37174). A burial was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (1101 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37210).
