He is survived by: his wife Roberta (Hanson Coltrane); his daughters, Tricia Balingit (Ben) and Sherry Philbin (Phil); his grandsons, Alex Balingit (Lauren), Brett Balingit (Camilla) and Brandon Balingit; his siblings, Carol Olson, Jo Ann Clum and Doug Coltrane (Cheryl); and his sister-in-law Susan Picker (Mark). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
