With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa Beth Edwards of Spring Hill, Tennessee, who passed away on September 16, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Melissa farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Melissa is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Wayne Bailey and Linda Faye McKeel Barker; and her stepfather Billy Barker. She is survived by: her daughter Cassandra Baker of Spring Hill; her brothers, Gary Bailey (Gwen) of Culleoka, Tracy Barker (Vickie) of Williamson County, Michael Bailey of Columbia, Glenn Bailey (Vinissa) of Columbia and Billy Jack Barker of Williamson County; and her grandchildren, Ahlaeah Carlton and Matthew Baker. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
