He was predeceased by: his parents, Olga Chortyk and John Chortyk. He is survived by: his wife Christine Marie Majnich; his children, Roman (Rebecca Chortyk), Andrea (Serge Kolomiets) and Laryssa Chortyk White (Ryan White); and his grandchildren, Natasha, Alexandra Chortyk, Nicholas, Alexander Kolomiets, Julia and Nathan White.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home (5239 Main St, Spring Hill, TN 37174).
