He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Bronco Arms; his brothers, Ralph Allen Arms and Kenneth Arms; and his nephew Allen Arms. He is survived by: his wife Donna Armes; his children, Jason Wayne Armes (Kelly) and Kelly D. Guy (Jason); his grandchildren, Jesse, Kaden, Kierra and Jasmine; his sister Debra McEwing; and his nephew Glenn Arms.
