He was predeceased by: his wife Garnet Bright Woodward; his son James Reece Woodward; his parents, James Woodward and Louise Woodward; and his brothers, Jackie Woodward, Frank Woodward and Billy Woodward.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Smith (Jody) and Michelle Woodward; and his grandchildren, Bethany Rust (Drew), Olivia Leonhardt (Josh), Brittany Bennett (John), Felix James Riggs, III (Serena), Bailey Long and Brenna Smith. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
