He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Lee Jones and Dorothy Ogg Jones; his wife Brenda Carolyn Jones; his siblings, Bobby Lee Jones, Joyce Slate and Sue Hallman; and his stepmother Hazel Jones.

He is survived by: his sons, Bryan Jones (Shelley) and Brandon Jones (Amy); and his grandchildren, Paige, Patrick, Brooke and Cole. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
