She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Vaden and Susie Woodard Vaden; her husband Joe Howard Brown; and her siblings, Bettye Sue Hilton and Thomas Lee Vaden.

She is survived by: her children, Tina Schnitzler (Frank) of White House and Kirby Joe Brown (Felicia) of Donelson; her grandson Michael Owen Brown of Florida; and her sister-in-law Wanda Vaden of Greenbrier.
