As Delphia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Delphia. Though Delphia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claris Oral and Myrtle Victoria Wisdom Patton; her husband Johnny Chinn; and her sisters, Winona Bagley and Veda Smith.
She is survived by: her son Jimmy Smith (Geanie); and her grandchildren, Jason and JoAnn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home (2118 S Commerce St, Ardmore, OK 73401).
