Douglas Veron Lyon Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 7, 2025, at the age of 80, Douglas Veron Lyon of Springfield, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Veron Lyon and Helen Hobbs Lyon (Hobbs); and his sister-in-law Anne Gorton (Don, Jr.). He is survived by: his wife Sidney Carlton Lyon; his children, Joyce Haggard (Barry) and Robert Springfield; his sister-in-law Carolyn Gorton (W. Mack); his grandchildren, Lindsay Greer (Jake), Abigail Brown (Jaren) and Sophie Haggard; and his great grandchild Jameson Brown. He is also survived by neighbors and friends.
