He was predeceased by : his parents, H. B. O'Neal and Christine O'Neal. He is survived by : his wife Judy O'Neal; his son Steve O'Neal; his daughter-in-law Diana Pelletier; his daughter Karen Bradley; his brother Johnny Melford "Mickey" O'Neal; his grandchildren, Magen Kisner (Carson), Shawna O'Neal and Ryan O'Neal (Melody); and his great grandchildren, Ellie Mae, Cortland, Wayde and Reeves.

In the leu of flowers and gifts, the family requests donations be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
