He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Wilkerson and Mattie Lee Summers Wilkerson; his wife Loray Wilkerson; his sister Lisa Wilkerson; and his half-siblings, Earl Mooneyhan, Marie Yates and Linda McEwing.
He is survived by: his children, George William Wilkerson, Jr. and Sarah Ann Marie Wilkerson; and his half-brother Thomas Mooneyhan.
