He was predeceased by: his nephew Michael Curtis Gaston. He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Davis and Mary Davis (Weber) of Shabbona, IL.; his wife Ruth Davis (Gaitan) of Springfield, TN; his son James Alexander "Alex" Davis of Springfield, TN; and his siblings, Jerry K. Davis (Veronica) of Marana, AZ, Jodi K. Davis (John) of Santa Fe, NM, Jana K. Davis of Marana, AZ, Jay K. Davis of Oregon, IL, Jennifer K. Gaston (Nicholas) of Shabbona, IL and John K. Davis of Elburn, IL.. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
