She was predeceased by : her parents, Marvin Evans and Myrtle Evans; her sisters, Margaret Evans, Jean Rediker, Katheline Beasley, Dorothy Cook and Billie Zimmerle; and her son Kevin Louallen.

She is survived by : her husband Joseph Horton, Sr.; her children, Amber Cook (Calvin), Sherry Holman (Jerry) and Joseph Horton, Jr.; her grandchildren, Mandy Privitt, Brandi Bennett of Brittany Bertoli, J. C and Skyler Cook; and her sisters, Marine Morrow and Wilberdean Biggs.
