Ruth Bilyeu Adams Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Ruth Bilyeu Adams of Springfield, Tennessee. Ruth, born on September 20, 1934, passed away on October 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Bilyeu and Edna Pearl Bilyeu; her husband William Bradley Adams, Sr.; her great grandchild Rosey Lynn Blakeley; and her siblings, Tommy Bilyeu, James Bilyeu, Louise Shaeffer and Wanda Keith.
She is survived by: her children, William Bradley "Bo" Adams, Jr., Sherry Lynn Shearer (Robert) and Pamela Ruth Duncan (Terry); her grandchildren, Summer Blakeley (Patrick), Robert Dallas Shearer, Robert Adam Duncan (Sarah) and Tim Hickey (Taryn); her great grandchildren, Ella Rose Blakeley, Collins Claire Hickey, Timothy "Duncan" Hickey and Miller Wright Hickey; her sisters, Jean Rwls and Shirley Carroll; and her sisters-in-law, Patsy Dorris (Carl), Judy Clinard and Mary Jo Lickletter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home (509 N Walnut St, Springfield, TN 37172). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
