Though Ruth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" M. Hicks; her son Lynn W. Hicks; and her grandson John C. Hicks. She is survived by: her son Glen A. Hicks; and her grandchildren, Parker Hicks, Emily Hicks and Elizabeth Hicks.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (1150 Dickerson Pike, Goodlettsville, TN 37072). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
