He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Norris and Mildred Alva "Ted" Gibbs; his wife Barbara Eckert Gibbs; his brother Albritton; and his grandson Samuel Crockett Holman.
He is survived by: his brother Gary Scott (Becky); his daughters, Becky (Kevin LeGate), Hillary (Joe Craig) and Amber (Joe Seeley); his grandchildren, Taylor Hollis (Blake), Faith Lisemby (Jacob), Savannah LeGate, Anna Beth Craig, Laura Seeley, Jessie Seeley, Caleb Craig, Ridge Holman, Hank Seeley, Cecilia Crutcher Quintero, Thomas "Bubba" Crutcher and Adam Crutcher; and also Banks Hollis.
