It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann Short of Stanton, Tennessee, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Mike Short; her parents, Wayne Peeler and Ann Peeler; and her brother-in-law Jere Edwin Mason. She is survived by: her daughter Jessica "Jessie" Mears (Mike); her grandson Sean Mears; and her sister Connie Mason.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home (1701 U. S. 51 S, Covington, TN 38019). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
