He was predeceased by : his parents, James Albert and Lonnie Joe Pruitt; and his siblings, Earl Pruitt, Wilbert Pruitt, James Pruitt, Jr. (Apostle), Dr. Charlie Lee Pruitt, Emma Martin, Evangelist Mary Neal Gray, Minister Winnie Lue Taylor and Minister Effie Lee Bell.

He is survived by : his sisters, Lavern Pruitt, Dr. Nancy Pruitt of Brownsville and Dorothy Pruitt of Lansing; and also Evangelist. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
