It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ward Elwyn Smith of Stanton, Tennessee, who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Smith and Lillie Jackson Smith; and his sister Monavee King. He is survived by : his wife Sandra I. Smith of Stanton, TN; his children, James D. Huff, Heather Bartlett and Laurie Ann Hamed; and his sister Carolyn Stanley. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
