Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alan Charles Melton of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 75, on August 1, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Leo Melton and Mary Melton; his brother Jeffrey Melton; and his grandson John Ethan Tipton. He is survived by: his wife Donna Arlene White; and his children, Dustin Melton (Jennifer), Andrea Eley, Crystal Tipton (John), Brandy Roberts (Jeff), Amber Boyer (Clint), McKayla Woods (Lucas), Caleb and Tristan Melton. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Strawberry Plains (3100 W Old Andrew Johnson Hwy, Strawberry Plains, TN 37871). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
