It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Allen Barker of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Janice Barker; his parents, Thomas Barker and Esta Barker; and his siblings, Thomas Grady, Hazel Imogene Roberts, Dorothy Armitage and Mary Louise Lyle.

He is survived by : his sons, James Barker (Sadie) and Brandon Barker (DeeDee); and his grandchildren, Megan, Michelle, Sara, Oliver, Derrick and Cyera.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, or your local fire department.
