Lynn A. Hischier Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lynn A. Hischier of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 21, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lynn A. Hischier to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes (John Zobel) and Lynn; her children, Thomas and Glen; her siblings, Jerry Zobel and Carol Hartley; her brothers-in-law, Robert Hartley, James Hischier and Joseph Hischier (Mary); her nephews, Tim Hartley and Kurt Hischier; and her in-laws, Joseph and Lillian Hischier.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel J. Hischier; her daughter Laura Maier (Donald) of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Joseph of South Carolina and Lillian Maier of Maryland; her brother Alan Zobel (Carol); her siblings-in-law, Darlyne Hischier and Paul Hischier (June); and her extended family Wooldridges. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (901 Elizabeth St, Joliet, IL 60435). The inurnment will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
