Mike Gentry Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Gentry of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mike farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mike is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie Gentry and Billie Gentry; his wife Elaine Gentry; his children, Tiffany Ivey and Brandon Gentry (Ashley); his grandson Tyler Gentry; his brother David Gentry; and his close friend Ron Lackey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bridges Funeral Home (5430 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924).
