She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Lethco and Dorothy Rimmer Lethco; her husband James Rucker; and her sister Barbara Trent. She is survived by : her son Fred Patterson III; her stepson Tom Rucker (Kara); her sister Jane Lethco Corbett; her niece Elise McCalvin; and her nephews, Craig Corbett, James Corbett and Bill Trent.

She blessed others by crocheting blankets that she then donated to Children's Hospital.
