We bid farewell to Betty Mae Smith of Summertown, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Betty Mae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Edgar and Lucinda Voss Clifft; her sons, Jerry Wayne Smith and Tony Smith; and her siblings, Helen Staggs, Felicia Riley, Alice Davis, Josephine Favors, Mattie Welch, Ola Barnett, Linda Sue Cotton, Richard Clifft and George Clifft.

She is survived by: her husband William Smith of Summertown, TN; her children, Joan Konig (Jimmy) of Summertown, TN, Judy Dickson (Danny) of Summertown, TN and Jeff Smith (Linda) of Summertown, TN; and her daughters-in-law, Debbie Smith of Summertown, TN and Angie Smith of Summertown, TN. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to Summertown Baptist Church, the Alzheimer's Association, or the American Cancer Society.
